A neutral + rose color Christmas tree

Aren’t Christmas trees the best?! It seems like everyone is putting theirs up early this year, and I am SO on board!!!

Each year I do a slightly different theme on our tree…. Red is so on trend this Christmas season, but I wasn’t ready to fully commit to it. So I decided to mix pinks (always a favorite of mine) and reds. I didn’t do the classic red, but instead used berry and wine tones to compliment the pink. I love a full tree, so I filled it in with pretty neutrals of gold and white.

My theory on ornaments is that it is always best to mix sizes, colors, and textures! I used many different materials for my ornaments including wood, metal, yarn, sequins, glitter, and the classic glass. Ornaments do not have to be uniform to go together.

I love to have a few ornaments on our tree each year that have a deeper meaning... To represent my blog coming to life this year I got a palm tree ornament. You can read about the significance of that tree to flourish home on the bottom of the about page.

My husband and I celebrated 10 years of marriage at the very beginning of 2019, so to represent that I got this ornament to put our family picture in. Our last family picture ornament is from 2009 at our wedding, to which my youngest son said this week, “you guys look creepy!” Apparently we have changed quite a bit since then! haha. I may have to share that one on Instagram later if you are all so lucky!

I love this white pom pom garland, I have managed to incorporate it into our tree for the last several years! I think they may still have it in store at Hobby Lobby (they were sold out online).

Last but not least, I took some left over mini ornaments and put them in a short vase on my coffee table. It made a simple—yet beautiful—centerpiece!

Another reason why I love Christmas trees is that not one turns out the same— they are each their own kind of beautiful! The very best thing you can do when decorating your tree this year is to make it your own! And have fun. Happy Holidays my friends!
