DIY wall hanging
This DIY wall hanging is super easy, affordable, and a fun activity for a group! I recently did this with a local MOPS group. Find out how you can make one for your home with my step by step instructions—and some free print designs!
What you will need:
a wooden dowel
masking tape
ribbon or twine
a poster print
First cut your ribbon to the length you want it to hang. If you aren’t sure what will look right, cut the total length to 2x’s the length of your poster. Then tie each end of your ribbon or twine to the ends of your wooden dowel. You can find all lengths of dowels at Hobby Lobby, to see what I used click here. When picking a dowel length, you want it to be an inch longer than what the width of your poster will be.
Next, lay your poster face side down, and fold the top inch over the dowel. Then secure it with masking tape.
For some added flair, I left some tails on my decorative ribbon. With the hanging I made with twine, I cut the tails off, because it didn’t look quite right.
And there you have it! A beautiful, yet simple, wall hanging. My favorite thing to have on my wall is scripture. It brings new life and purpose to any space. Click on one of the images below that I designed, and use it for your own wall hanging! Enjoy!
